課程概述 |
本課程係以大氣科學系一年級學生為授課對象，為三學分的必修課程。本課程亦開放給其
他院系大學部學生充抵通識課程。
本課程使用教材為Ahrens, C. D., 2006, Meteorology Today: An Introduction to
Weather, Climate, and the Environment. Eighth edition, Thomson-Brooks/Cole
Learning, Pacific Grove, CA, USA, 537 pages.
本課程講授內容包括地球大氣的緣起、組成成份與結構，大氣的能源-太陽、氣溫、水氣、
雲、降水以及大氣運動-風等。第二部分講授內容包括氣團、鋒面、中緯度風暴，雷雨與龍
捲風，颱風等主要天氣現象的特性和天氣預報的原理。最後講授內容為全球氣候的特徵、
氣候變遷，以及空氣污染等課題。
